30K Wedding Becomes Feast ForHomeless An Indiana woman didn’t want to cancel her $30,000 wedding. So instead of letting it go to waste, she threw a party for the homeless.
On Saturday buses pulled up to the swanky event center that Sarah Cummins had booked for the reception in Carmel. The suburb is just north of Indianapolis. About a dozen veterans from a local organization were among the guests. They dined on bourbon-glazed meatballs, goat cheese, chicken breast and wedding cake.
