Taking Alwar Mob Victim To Hospital, Cops Stopped For Tea, Cow Transport The man who died in Rajasthan’s Alwar on Friday after being beaten by a mob that suspected him of cattle smuggling, was in police custody for nearly four hours before he was taken to a hospital, NDTV has found. On the way to the hospital, the police gave him a bath, arranged vehicles to transport the seized cows, took him to a police station and even stopped for tea. The police, which said 28-year-old Akbar Khan died “on way to hospital”, have arrested three persons who were allegedly part of the lynch mob. They will be charged with murder, the police said.
