Not All Children Have Been Reunited With Their Families The court ordered the government to reunite all eligible families that were separated at the border. Yet, according to CNN, one in three children have not been reunited. So far, the government has reunited 1,442 families with children aged 5 and older. The government said an additional 378 children were already released under “appropriate circumstances.” This mean they were given to other family members or friends who can care for them.
